Position Summary:
Correctly perform DOT & PM Inspections on trailers. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including brakes, air system, electrical system and suspension components. Perform welding and fabrication repairs. Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
What You’ll Do:
Perform DOT and Preventative Maintenance inspections on trailers
Diagnose and repair brake, air, electrical (lighting, ABS), and suspension systems
Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum trailer components
Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
Handle on-site service calls when needed
Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
Work professionally with customers, drivers, and team members
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Experience with welding, fabrication, or trailer repair preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform hands-on tasks safely
