Position Summary:

Correctly perform DOT & PM Inspections on trailers.  Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including brakes, air system, electrical system and suspension components. Perform welding and fabrication repairs. Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Perform DOT and Preventative Maintenance inspections on trailers

  • Diagnose and repair brake, air, electrical (lighting, ABS), and suspension systems

  • Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum trailer components

  • Complete work orders and service documentation accurately

  • Handle on-site service calls when needed

  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized

  • Work professionally with customers, drivers, and team members

Job requirements

 What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (CDL preferred)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

  • Experience with welding, fabrication, or trailer repair preferred

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform hands-on tasks safely
