What You’ll Do

• Open shop, turn on the lights, unlock all the doors in the shop building.

• Edit and review time clock punches from the previous day for all the department employees.

• Writing Repair orders for Technicians, Processing and Closing Repair orders.

• Scheduling and dispatching of work.

• Review of work orders and PMs from the previous day

• Distribute daily jobs to technicians

• Monitoring Shop Equipment upkeep and future needs

• Communicating with venders regarding current products, inventory replenishment, and pricing

• Directing and Assisting Technicians when needed

• Communicating with Management Team

• Quality Inspection of completed work.

• Continually reviewing jobs in progress, keeping customers up to date with jobs complete, defect write ups, changes to the repair requirements, changes to the estimated completion time, and updating estimates as needed

• Review repair orders ready to close

• Prioritize workload based on needed completion times

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (CDL preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the heavy-duty truck service business

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Experience with welding, fabrication, or trailer repair preferred

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform hands-on tasks safely

• Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality work
