Job description

Our Oshkosh location is currently looking for a 2nd shift Service Supervisor to join our team. Hours are 12:30pm to 9:00pm.

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, prepares work orders and maintains records for repairs of vehicles and equipment. Scheduling for Tractor and Trailer departments. Handle all incoming calls and communicate needs to proper departments.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Coordinate scheduling with both shops master schedules
  • Take incoming phone calls and communicate updates with customers
  • Post parts to jobs from work in process ROs daily
  • Review work orders and inspections performs on shift
  • Review parts orders and submit
  • Over counter parts sales
  • Close and settle COD work orders on shift
  • Assist in preparing estimates as needed
  • Coordinate and oversee technicians in both shops, assist as needed
  • Close shop following closing procedure
  • Fills in for manager and runs departments, as necessary
  • Performs other duties as required

Job requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years’ experience in heavy-duty truck business
  • Have a valid Driver License
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use computer’s efficiently

Work Environment:

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The employee is occasionally exposed to dirt, dust and fumes from the shop. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
