Service Manager
Quality Truck Care Center of Oshkosh is looking for an Experienced Service Manager to add to our team for our growing needs! Quality Truck Care Center is Family Owned and Operated and has been in Business since 1986! We are a Franchised Western Star, AutoCar Truck and Wisconsin only XCMG Dealer.

Position Summary:
The Tractor Shop Service Manager oversees the day-to-day in our Tractor shop. This includes opening the location. Reviewing of technician’s time punches, work orders and PMs. Communicating with customers on updates and completion of jobs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Open shop, turn on the lights, unlock all the doors in the shop building.
Edit and review time clock punches from the previous day for all the department employees.
Writing Repair orders for Technicians, Processing and Closing Repair orders.
Scheduling and dispatching of work.
Review of work orders and PMs from the previous day
Distribute daily jobs to technicians
Monitoring Shop Equipment upkeep and future needs
Communicating with venders regarding current products, inventory replenishment, and pricing
Directing and Assisting Technicians when needed
Communicating with Management Team
Quality Inspection of completed work.
Continually reviewing jobs in progress, keeping customers up to date with jobs complete, defect write ups, changes to the repair requirements, changes to the estimated completion time, and updating estimates as needed
Review repair orders ready to close
Prioritize workload based on needed completion times
Job requirements
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the heavy-duty truck service business
Good customer service skills and the ability to manage costs and personnel are a must.
Self-Motivating
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, CDL preferred
Work Environment:
The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The employee is exposed to dirt, dust and fumes from the shop, as well as temperature changes due to weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
