Position Summary:

Sells parts to customers at the counter, over the telephone, or through the repair shops.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists customers in determining and selecting appropriate parts. Provides price quotes and other parts information.

  • Informs customers of specials and companion part requirements, ensuring that the customer is exposed to the full product line.

  • Assists technicians with the parts requisition process, ensuring that the Parts department receives a completed copy of the parts request or repair order. Ensures that all internal parts requests are billed on repair order.

  • Represents Quality Truck Care Center in a professional manner, remaining friendly and courteous in all customer and coworker interactions.

  • Pulls and fills parts orders from stock. Prepares orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.

  • Inspects cores received from customers. Tags for return to vendor. Issues customer credit upon receipt of credit from vendor.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Six to twelve months parts experience or training, heavy duty truck experience preferred

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Valid Wisconsin Drivers License / insurable
